1. Configuration & all Commissioning work / Site Handling
Act as a liaison between We One Department, We One, and other stakeholders during the implementation of the security system. Define functional specifications for security solution projects in coordination with DP World and ensure clear communication regarding technical interfaces with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to prevent future discrepancies. Liaise with project personnel responsible for implementation and coordinate with the We One Office for proposals regularly.
2. Site Survey / Planning
Conduct site surveys, prepare assessment reports, and identify suitable security solutions based on requirements and site conditions.
Follow up on ongoing activities for quality control; coordinate the definition of monitoring systems for the project with appropriate follow-up indicators, updating indicators, achievements, activities, and results according to the project log.
Coordinate with Security for risk assessments and Security Plans when necessary to understand and analyze security requirements of DP World. Report to WS Engineering office and maintain dotted line reporting to DP We One Department. Plan workshops with DP World and relevant stakeholders to identify security scope of work, training needs, equipment, support, and define orientation terms.
3. Team Work and Communication
Encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with DP World. Communicate effectively with line managers, peers, and subordinates. Provide written information to supervisors and co-workers. Maintain uninterrupted communication with We One office. Coordinate technical meetings and set agendas.
Ensure that We One's interests are protected in all DPW projects at all times.
4. Project Monitoring and Reporting
Oversee project quality and compliance with standards. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to WS Engineering office and maintain dotted line reporting to DP We One Department regarding ongoing projects and new proposals.
5. Special Projects
Perform tasks as assigned by the line manager and during internal meetings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or IT Engineering.
Professional certification preferred, such as PMP.
Formal training and industry experience, including on-the-job training.
Practical Experience / Skills
Minimum of 5 years of related industry experience, with at least 3 years in configuration and commissioning of integrated security systems. Strong industry knowledge, up-to-date with emerging trends in CCTV, Access Control, and Security Solutions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and reporting skills. Customer-focused, creative, and a team player.
