Job summary

Qualifications

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) operations across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems, plans, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and accident investigations.
  • Drive a strong safety culture among all employees, subcontractors, and partners.
  • Coordinate and manage HSE activities across multiple contractors and consortium partners, ensuring smooth interfaces.
  • Provide training, guidance, and leadership to HSE teams and site personnel.
  • Report on HSE performance, incidents, and improvement plans to senior management.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 15–20 years of HSE experience in heavy industry, oil & gas, power, or similar sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing HSE in EPC or consortium environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to handle challenging situations and people.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH IGC, NVQI Level 3, or equivalent. Lead Auditor certifications in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 are advantageous.
