Job Description

The Field Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving the sales force towards achieving their targets in a specific geographic area or territory. As a key player in the field sales team, you will oversee a group of sales representatives and ensure the execution of our company's sales strategies and initiatives. Your role will entail regular market analysis and client interaction to understand customer needs and preferences, enabling you to guide your team effectively. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans, organizing training sessions for the sales team, and directly contributing to revenue generation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to motivate a team towards achieving ambitious sales goals.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, overseeing their daily activities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts.
  • Provide sales training and support to enhance team performance and capabilities.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to forecast and report on future growth.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards during sales activities.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new sales personnel as needed.
  • Develop innovative solutions to problems faced by the sales team in the field.
  • Collaborate with upper management to set and adjust sales priorities as necessary.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a field sales manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members.
  • Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and support the sales team on site.
  • Capability to work under pressure and adapt to changing market conditions.
