The School of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology (SEAST) at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor in Computer Science, Computer Networking, and Software Design. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching, research, and service missions of the department and university while engaging in industry collaboration and academic innovation.

• Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science, including but not limited to:
  • Web Development
  • Virtualization & Cloud Architecture
  • Computer Network
  • Programming
  • Mobile Application Development
  • Advanced Database Systems
• Develop and update course syllabi and materials to reflect industry trends and academic advancements.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career development.
• Supervise undergraduate projects and internships.

• Conduct and publish high-quality research in Advertising, Integrated Marketing Communications, or related fields.
• Seek external research funding and engage in interdisciplinary projects.
• Present research at academic and industry conferences.

• Participate in departmental and university service, including curriculum development and accreditation processes.
• Engage with the industry to strengthen partnerships, facilitate student internships, and develop real-world learning opportunities.
• Contribute to community outreach and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science Computer Network, Software Design, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Prior university-level teaching experience preferred.
• A strong record of peer-reviewed research publications.
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the university level.

• Industry experience in advertising, marketing communications, or public relations.
• Proficiency in digital and emerging media strategies for advertising.
• Experience with experiential learning methodologies and student mentorship.
• Familiarity with accreditation processes and curriculum development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
