Exciting Opportunity in Renewable Energy! Senior Contract Manager – Solar Power Project (Togo)

Are you a contract management professional from South Africa ready to make a real impact in the energy transition? We’re looking for a Senior Contract Manager to lead the contractual and commercial aspects of a landmark 42 MWac solar power plant project in Sokodé, Togo. This 18-month assignment, starting June 2025, is a unique chance to contribute to Togo’s sustainable energy future.

Your Role:

As the Senior Contract Manager, you'll be the go-to expert for all contractual matters—driving compliance, managing risks, and safeguarding the project’s commercial interests from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end contract management throughout the project lifecycle
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and amendments
• Ensure full contractual compliance; handle claims, change orders, and disputes
• Collaborate across legal, procurement, technical, and project teams
• Provide strategic advice on risk mitigation and contract optimization
• Liaise with local authorities and ensure alignment with Togolese regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 8–10+ years in contract management, preferably on infrastructure or renewable energy projects
• Strong understanding of FIDIC or similar international contract frameworks
• Experience in multicultural/international environments
• Fluency in French is essential; English is a strong asset
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills
