Job summary
A global engineering consultancy is seeking a Resident Engineer for Water Infrastructure Projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Dubai's infrastructure, relevant degree, and at least 15 years of experience in civil engineering. Responsibilities include decision-making, liaising with authorities, and preparing necessary documentation. This is a full-time position.

- At least 15 years of experience in infrastructure works.
- Strong knowledge and experience in design of infrastructure works.
- Familiar with DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance, and Quantity Surveying.
Responsibilities
- Make spot decisions and deal with all Service Authorities.
- Prepare instructions, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
- Control the works and liaise with DM and other infrastructure authorities.

Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer for a Water Infrastructure Projects in Dubai.
- Full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure in Dubai.
- Relevant degree from a recognized university and at least 15 years of experience in infrastructure works.
- Capable of making spot decisions and dealing with all Service Authorities.
- Knowledge and experience in pipelines, cables, sewers, manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers and pumping station works, non‑disruptive road crossings.
- Strong knowledge and experience in design of infrastructure works.
- Familiar with DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance, Quantity Surveying and Project Network Techniques (Primavera).
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Primavera.
- Confident in own ability to control the works.
- Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
- Capacity to make decisions and ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure authorities.
