The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing comprehensive project schedules, coordinating timelines, and ensuring that all phases of work progress according to plan. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and site supervisors to integrate all project activities into a unified execution strategy. The Planning Engineer monitors milestones, identifies potential delays or risks, and recommends corrective measures to maintain project momentum. Using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, the Planning Engineer produces detailed progress reports, forecasts resource needs, and supports claims or time extension analyses. A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications are essential. By aligning schedules with budgets and contractual requirements, the Planning Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring successful project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications
• Knowledge of project control methodologies and scheduling best practices
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
