A leading construction company in the UAE is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and responsible for developing project plans, monitoring progress, and preparing reports. Excellent English communication skills are essential for this role, along with strong organizational abilities. This position may involve some travel to Abu Dhabi for project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Sr. Planning Engineer in the construction industry.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to prepare professional-level reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans for new projects and assist the project team.
• Develop fully cost-loaded project baseline programs.
• Monitor and control the project baseline programs.

ne of our leading Construction industry clients in the UAE is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer who performs several tasks including Assisting the project Team with developing plans for a new project. Planning Engineer also should be involved in planning and scheduling.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Must be knowledgeable of Both MS Project and Primavera (P6) scheduling Software and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
• Responsible for developing Reports and Dash Boards and Reports
• Responsible for developing of fully cost and resource loaded project baseline program and Planning deliverables in coordination with all the stakeholders as per contract requirements.
• Responsible to develop the Progress reports and Meeting Presentations for the projects which includes but not limited to Program Updates KPI Curves Progress S-Curve Progress forecast Progress tracking sheets Progress monitoring sheets Progress mark-ups Construction progress sequences etc.
• Monitoring and Control the Project Baseline programs.
• Manage subcontractors and review subcontractor s programme of works.
• Attend meetings with client & the project team as required.
• Prepare updated revised recovery time impact or target program of works as required for the projects.
• Prepare contractual correspondences to Client Consultant and subcontractors which includes but not limited to Delay notices Notices for claims etc.
• Expert in preparing Extension of Time claims and review subcontractors EOT claims.
• Earned value analysis KPI Cost and resource reports generating from the Primavera P6 Software.
• Evaluate and forecast project progress and performances

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Sr. Planning Engineer in the construction industry infrastructure preferably in piling & foundation works.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 MS Project Excel Word and PowerPoint. Ability to prepare professional-level reports and presentations. Power -Bi knowledge and Experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles and foundation engineering concepts. Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Excel. Strong planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications. Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination.
• Might have to travel for work purposes to Abu Dhabi at times for projects.
• Excellent skills in written and oral communication in English strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
