Our client is a renowned titan among the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, and is seeking an astute and dynamic Head of Institution. The role involves spearheading growth in crypto-centric OTC, API, Structured Product, and Options trading verticals.

Responsibilities

• Business Strategy Formulation : Devise forward-looking strategies tailored to the volatile crypto market. Analyze market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes to create unique value propositions for OTC, API, Structured Products, and Options trading services.
• Client Expansion and Relationship Management : Seek out and cultivate relationships with institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, and financial institutions. Understand their investment needs, risk appetites, and trading objectives to offer customized solutions, ensuring long-term partnerships and loyalty.
• Product Development Oversight : Lead the creation and launch of innovative crypto-related structured products and options. Collaborate with product developers to ensure offerings are profitable and compliant with global regulations.
• Team Leadership : Build and nurture a high-performing team of traders, analysts, and sales professionals. Provide mentorship, set performance goals, and conduct evaluations to foster growth. Collaborate across departments like risk management and technology to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Experience : Minimum of 10 years in finance, with substantial experience in hedge fund asset management or cryptocurrency asset management. Proven success in launching and scaling trading businesses, preferably in crypto.
• Knowledge : Deep understanding of OTC trading mechanisms, API-driven trading platforms, structured product design, and options trading strategies related to cryptocurrencies. Familiarity with blockchain technology is a plus.
• Network : Extensive connections within the financial industry, including key decision-makers at hedge funds and asset management firms. A strong network within the crypto ecosystem, including blockchain projects, exchanges, and regulators, is essential.
• Skills : Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in data analysis for business decisions.
• Language : Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
