Job description
- Ensure permanent control of the application of the Company's HSE Management System and Bridging Documents requirements between contractors involved in operations & Company.
- Support the Company's Senior Supervisor to identify and minimize risks especially downgraded situations. Participate in performing Operational Risk Analysis and job analysis for critical tasks.
- Participate in Kick off meetings, Pre spud meetings, daily meetings and randomly in Pre Job Meetings.
- Ensure and/or deliver HSE inductions at the activity sites.
- Ensure HSE training compliance of the personnel on site (H2S, ERW, ...).
- Coach and mentor crews in all aspects of daily HSE best practices as well as the company HSE Golden rules.
- Contribute to compliance with Company's HSE Objectives. Follow up on progress. Generate and propose improvements.
- Ensure communication of Return of Experience on all HSE related matters (e.g. Safety Feedback Notices). Participate in HSE performance improvement with recommendations of initiatives based on audit results or analysis of incidents.
- Organize implementation, training and sensitization of Company's HSE campaigns.
- Coordinate the implementation and updating of contractors' emergency plans, as well as collaborate in the organization of emergency/accident drills.
- Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents/accidents/anomalies (participate in Cause Tree analysis when required). Consolidate and issue investigation report. Follow up the implementation of identified actions.
- Assist the Company's Senior Supervisor in the organization and preparation of Site HSE Committee presentation and minutes.
- Verification of location status upon completion of rig disassembly and prior to location handover.
- Control the trafficability and condition of the roads before starting the DTM. Collaborate in the preparation and dissemination of the "Road Map".
- Be trained as CPLO (Competent person for lifting personnel) Level 1.
- Assist Company's Senior Supervisor on SIMOPS follow‑up.
- Ensure compliance of site activity with Company's Waste Management Plan.
- Ensure monitoring and reporting of HSE key performance indicators (KPI) set by the Company.
- Maintain updated HSE boards at the activity sites.
- Perform the upload, update, follow‑up and closure of cases in the Synergi system.
- Ensure the correct analysis, follow‑up and improvement of reported anomalies in a reliable database.
- Keep a record of corrective actions arising from internal and external audits, HSE tours and incident/accident reports.
- Contribute to the organization of internal and external audits, technical reviews, HSE tours. Follow up of actions taken.
- Perform spot audits (PTW, Check List of vehicles, contractor's facilities, camp, equipment and tools, canteen).
- Control FiFi system, means of evacuation/rescue and meeting points.
- Advise the Company's Senior Supervisor on HSE matters. Contribute to ensure that activities are carried out according to the Company's HSE policies and procedures (procedures, downgraded situation management plan, oil spill contingency plan, waste management plan, bridging documents, medevac).
- Ensure that information on all serious incidents/accidents is immediately communicated to the Company's Senior Supervisor and that an appropriate investigation, analysis and classification report is established promptly.
Profile
The job holder should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and a minimum of 5 years as a Safety Advisor (or equivalent) on drilling and completion operations. Experience in onshore operations is a plus.
Dynamic, proactive, very organized and detail oriented.
Fluent in English; fluency in Arabic is appreciated.
