A reputable recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Administrative & Events Coordinator based in Dubai. This role involves managing logistics for workshops and conferences in the oil and gas sector and overseeing day-to-day office administration. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and prior experience in event management. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in significant events across the GCC region.

As one of the world’s professional geological societies, they foster scientific research to promote technology for the upstream energy industry and provide a network of communication for over 36,000 professionals, operating in 129 countries.
We are seeking an Administrative & Events Coordinator to manage workshops and conferences for the oil and gas industry within the GCC region. The successful individual will be involved at every level, from identifying the venue, managing the logistics of the event, marketing, maintaining the budget and payments to assisting with the technical programme. The individual is also the main line of contact between the Director and the graphic designer and printing companies, collating and organizing the marketing collateral and set-ups. Additionally, the role will encompass all the day to day administrative requirements for the office. This includes organizing the office finances, dealing with memberships and general liaison with the organisations headquarters in the USA, as well as managing all the travel arrangements and scheduling for the Event Manager and Director.
