We have an urgent requirement for ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT with banking experience, specifically extensive experience in Tier 1 international banks in Europe, US, or Singapore for a bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture roles within the banking sector is a MUST.
• Very strong expertise in architecture design, cloud technologies, microservices, API management, and data architecture is a MUST.
• Open Group TOGAF9 Certification is preferred.
• Strong experience of 10-15 years in the banking industry in the technology division is a MUST.
• Extensive experience in Tier 1 international banks in Europe, US, or Singapore is MANDATORY to APPLY.

The first round is a 1-hour online test on Gorilla, which is mandatory. Please only apply for this role if you can commit to taking this test.

• Banks are facing an increasingly competitive marketplace due to the advent of disruptive technologies and innovations. It is therefore necessary to react to environmental changes and embrace an adaptive strategy to bring new offerings to market quickly.
• Enterprise Architecture addresses key enterprise aspects including business processes and strategies, value streams, data and information, and supporting technologies. The Enterprise Architect is an important function responsible for identifying, envisioning, and evolving the enterprise architecture and facilitating architecture-level decisions.
• Recommend long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the Enterprise Architecture objectives are consistent with the Bank's long-term business objectives.
• Understand business challenges through discovery sessions and streamline internal processes to improve service delivery and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and direction to IT departments in service and solution delivery.
• Study the maturity, adoption, and business application of specific technologies.
• Application portfolio management including management of As-Is information assessment and recommendations to eliminate overlaps.
• Manage IT risk profile in alignment with the enterprise risk management plan.
• Scenario planning and what-if analysis of emerging and disruptive technologies and innovations.
• Define standards and policies pertaining to technology processes, products, and patterns.
• Share best practices, lessons learned, and update enterprise architecture based on emerging technologies and upcoming vendor products and solutions.
• Analyze complex problem situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts, and risks while developing and implementing plans and solution deliverables.
• Ensure architectural documentation of current implementations, prototyping, performance testing, and scalability plans.
