A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Head of Technology for Personal and Islamic Banking. This role involves defining the technology roadmap and leading the design and deployment of innovative banking products. The incumbent will ensure compliant customer journeys and oversee modernization efforts. Ideal candidates should have 15 years in banking, with a focus on technology and Islamic banking principles. The position is full-time and requires strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Qualificações
- 15 years of overall experience in banking, with 10 years specifically related to technology.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring talent.
Responsabilidades
- Define and execute the technology roadmap for Personal and Islamic Banking.
- Collaborate with product operations and compliance teams.
- Oversee modernization of legacy systems and migration to cloud-native architectures.
Conhecimentos
The Head of Technology Personal and Islamic Banking is responsible for leading the strategic and operational technology agenda for the Personal and Islamic Banking domain. This role ensures the delivery of innovative secure and scalable solutions that align with business goals regulatory customer experience inline with the Group Technology reference architecture. The incumbent will drive transformation enhance customer experience and ensure technology platforms support business growth and compliance with Shariah principles.
- Define and execute the technology roadmap for Personal and Islamic Banking in alignment with reference architecture and business strategy
- Lead the design development and deployment of Personal and Islamic products
- Collaborate with product operations and compliance teams to deliver seamless and compliant customer journeys
- Oversee the modernization of legacy systems and migration to cloud-native architectures where applicable
- Monitor and manage technology budgets vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide leadership and direction to technology teams supporting Personal and Islamic Banking
- Ensure robust IT governance risk management and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Champion a culture of innovation agility and continuous improvement within the technology function
- Foster collaboration with enterprise architecture security infrastructure and other IT domains.
- Track and report on key scoreboards indicators (KPIs) including Audit and RISK items.
