Job summary
A leading company in oil and gas is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to oversee procurement policies and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly with EPC projects, and possess a strong understanding of SAP and Ariba systems. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with regulations and improving procurement efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience with EPC projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement policies and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Coordinate with departments to determine procurement needs.
- Monitor and report on procurement activities.

- Capable of handling of EPC Project
- Procurement Officer develop and maintain the company's procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring that they deliver quality goods and services in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company to determine their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and report on procurement activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost‑saving.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Minimum 5-years experience in Oil & Gas industry (preferable worked in Ex- ADNOC and Group Companies)
- Technical , Engineering , and EPC Projects Background
- Having strong knowledge for SAP and Ariba System (for purchasing materials, service contracting and expediting)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
