Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled engineer to prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE, proficiency in various design software, and strong knowledge of local building codes. - Prepare architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist in developing design presentations and conceptual drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants.

- Prepare accurate and detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist in the development of design presentations and conceptual drawings using Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance in design and documentation.
- Translate conceptual sketches and designs into technical drawings as per project specifications.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with Dubai Municipality (DM) and other local authorities’ standards.
- Support project teams during design development and construction documentation phases.
- Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain organized project files and drawing registers.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment in the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion.
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, construction detailing, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with Dubai Municipality submissions and approvals.
- Knowledge of BIM workflow is an added advantage.
