Job summary

A prominent oil and gas service provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Chief Fabricator. Candidates should possess seven years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least two years as Chief Fabricator. A diploma in engineering is required. Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Chief Fabricator.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute maintenance and construction activities.
• Assist in preparation of monthly maintenance schedules.
• Communicate and monitor approved maintenance procedures.
• Supervise subordinates' work efficiently and safely.
• Ensure timely implementation of daily work priorities.
• Prepare overhauling and daily work schedules.
• Implement PTW system and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure completion of maintenance activities as per standards.

Job description

Chief Fabricator

• Co-ordinate and execute maintenance and construction activities of piping, equipment and structural.
• Assist and contribute in preparation monthly maintenance schedule ensuring alignment to the annual maintenance plan and control the implementation of schedule as per set timeline
• Communicate the approved maintenance procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their work is carried out in a control manner
• Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all pipe and steel fabrication work is carried out in an efficient and safe manner
• Ensure timely implementation of daily work on priority basis
• Prepare overhauling schedule and daily work schedule
• Ensure to implement PTW system and prepare technical reports
• Ensure timely completion maintenance activities as per set standards and plan
