About our client

We are working with a leading technology-focused investment firm, headquartered in Abu Dhabi. They are currently looking to add a Communications Director to their high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of launching a new strategy, with the entrepreneurial pull of a first-time fund and the stable backing of successful stakeholders in the software and artificial intelligence sectors.

What the job involves

1. Design and implement communication plans aligned with the firm's investment strategy, vision, and goals.
2. Oversee press releases, interviews, and media briefings for the leadership team, focusing on deals, fundraising, and industry insights.
3. Assist senior executives, including managing partners, with speechwriting, presentation development, and talking points for internal and external engagement.
4. Manage the firm's digital platforms, including the website and social media channels, ensuring they reflect the firm's brand and expertise.
5. Represent the firm at industry events, panels, and conferences to enhance visibility and reputation.
6. Manage communication budgets effectively, aligning with strategic priorities.

Who we are looking for

1. A Bachelor's degree from a reputable university; a Master's and/or MBA is a strong plus.
2. Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related fields, ideally within finance, investment, or private equity.
3. Experience working with investor relations teams, including drafting reports, handling investor communication, and understanding financial disclosures.
4. Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders such as investors, regulators, industry peers, and employees to ensure effective communication.
5. Ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies, utilizing metrics and analytics to measure impact and improve approaches.
6. Strong work ethic and team spirit, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
7. Fluent English required; Arabic language skills are a strong plus.
