You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• Be responsible for delivering a memorable guest experience with seamless connectivity during their stay and ensure all systems have minimal downtime.
• Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related guest complaints and address them with priority.
• Ensure hotel applications and computer networks operate per Dorchester Collection standards.
• Enforce IT policies and procedures and monitor adherence.
• Assist in ensuring critical systems (Opera, Simphony, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, and POS) are available 24/7.
• Provide hands-on support for desktop OS and applications, including patches.
• Monitor IT Helpdesk calls and close them based on priority.
• Ensure backups are completed per schedule and notify IT Manager of issues.
• Assist guests with IT-related support during their stay.
• Follow Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for telecom rooms and maintain records.

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
• Good listening skills to understand requirements.
• Strong communication skills with a customer service orientation.
• English proficiency; comfortable communicating in English.
• Diploma in IT or related field; CCNA and Microsoft Certification is desirable.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in luxury hotels in the Middle East.
• Understanding of guest-facing technologies and troubleshooting.
• Experience in the luxury hotel industry is advantageous.
