OBJECTIVE:

As a Junior Planner, you are responsible for developing strategies for business growth, conducts market research, and analyses data to inform business decisions. Responsibilities include forecasting trends, coordinating with teams, and preparing detailed reports.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in preparing detailed project schedules and timelines using project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
2. Support the planning team in updating project schedules based on actual progress and revised forecasts.
3. Monitor project milestones and ensure alignment with critical path activities.
4. Generate weekly and monthly progress reports.
5. Coordinate with engineers, procurement, and site teams for updated inputs.
6. Identify scheduling conflicts and recommend adjustments as needed.
7. Maintain project documentation related to planning and scheduling.
8. Participate in project meetings and provide status updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. 1 to 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or project support.
3. Proficiency in project planning software, particularly Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
4. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
