A logistics company in Dubai is seeking a Freight Operation Supervisor to coordinate and manage air cargo operations. Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and liaising with airlines and freight forwarders. Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, handling, and dispatch of air cargo.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify cargo documentation (AWB, manifests, customs forms).
- Ensure compliance with IATA, UAE GCAA regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines, and ground handling teams.
- Inspect cargo for damage, security, and proper packaging.
- Manage cargo inventory in the warehouse and update records.
