We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Building Construction Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring all work adheres to quality, safety, and environmental standards. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles.

• Manage and oversee all phases of the construction process, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and specifications.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Supervise and mentor a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to address any concerns or issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.
• Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in construction technology to ensure the use of best practices.
• Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within ADNH , and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by ADNH ( Abu Dhabi National Hotels ).
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Head.

Qualifications, skills, and experience required to execute this role:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in construction, Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited University with sound knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical, HVAC Construction related experiences.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of professional project management processes and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must also be quick, decisive problem-solver.
• Strong quality management and process improvement.
• Well-developed coaching, supervisory and people management skills.
• Project budgeting development and cost management.
