Job summary
A consulting firm in Dubai is looking for a Demand Planner to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Business or related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in retail or distribution. Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively across functions. This role offers a competitive salary of up to 16,000 AED.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in retail or distribution.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with forecasting tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Open to Buy planning and retail inventory metrics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams.
- Monitor and manage stock levels for optimal product availability.
- Analyze sales performance and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Assist in seasonal planning and product life cycle management.
- Manage and track Open to Buy (OTB) budgets.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.
- Support S&OP processes and improve forecasting accuracy.
