We are looking for a dedicated and driven RESTAURANT MANAGER to join the leadership team and keep the operations running at full speed.

This is a fast-growing, high-energy smash burger joint located in the vibrant heart of De Waterkant, Cape Town

As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be a key part of the action – leading shifts, supporting the crew, and making sure every burger and guest experience is top-notch. You’ll thrive in a high-paced environment and be the kind of leader who leads by example – dependable, hands-on, and solutions-focused.

• Oversee and support daily restaurant operations
• Lead and motivate the team during service
• Ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Monitor product quality and consistency
• Resolve customer complaints in a calm, professional manner
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members
• Maintain inventory and place orders as needed
• Oversee thorough opening and closing procedures
• Assist with team scheduling and shift coverage
• Handle admin duties including reporting, invoices, and stock management
• Step in to assist wherever needed – from the grill to the floor

• Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role (hospitality/restaurant industry preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Calm under pressure, with a solutions-first mindset
• High attention to detail and a hands-on, can-do attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy – someone the team can count on
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Comfortable handling basic admin tasks (stock, rosters, reporting)

• Salary ZAR 20 – 25k CTC
