Job Title: SECTOR MANAGER

Responsibilities
- Strategic Operational Command
- Lead integrated deployments of ground patrols, tactical units, and aerial surveillance (RPAS/drones), guided by live intelligence and risk assessments.
- Develop, implement, and align operational plans with Critical Infrastructure Methodology, Fidelity SOPs, and legislative standards.
- Operations
- Drive effects-based operations to disrupt criminal activity, protect infrastructure, and prevent downtime.
- KPI Measures:
- Operational plans implemented and aligned with SLA requirements: 100%
- Intelligence-led deployments executed: ≥ 95%
- Reduction in incident response times: ≥ 90% SLA compliance
- Client Relationship & SLA Management
- Maintain strong client engagement, providing daily operational feedback and structured weekly/monthly reviews.
- Ensure services consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and ongoing risk assessments.
- Compliance & Governance
- Enforce compliance across firearms, FAMS, PSIRA, medicals, PPE, TFR induction, fleet licensing, and readiness.
- Conduct weekly/monthly compliance audits with corrective actions.
- Escalate and close non-compliance issues within defined timeframes.
- Incident Management & Investigation
- Command rapid response, ensuring SAPS dockets are opened under the Criminal Matters Amendment Act 18 of 2015.
- Oversee arrest and observation statements, drone footage reports, and property identification statements.
- Ensure Sector Managers lead incident debriefs with corrective actions.
- Submit Transnet incident debriefing reports within required timelines.
- Operational Coordination
- Approve and oversee duty rosters ensuring full SLA manning compliance.
- Escalate short deployments daily from 481, Guarding Branches & Mvikile.
- Conduct parades, toolbox talks, and readiness checks.
- Ensure patrol tagging and infrastructure inspections are complete.
Fleet & Equipment Management
- Oversee daily/weekly/monthly vehicle inspections and update the Fleet Compliance Matrix.
- Ensure firearms, radios, PPE, and vehicle tools are accounted for.
- Manage fuel spend, MVAs, traffic fines, speeding violations, and Autocam camera accuracy.
