The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:
Running of personalisation and mailing machines.
Conduct quality checks at intervals to ensure products meet specified requirements.
Ability to package/fulfil the completed jobs as per customer requirements and specifications
Do autonomous maintenance
Do quality checks according to the specified standards
Record production stats and job card accurately during the shift.
Ability to work shifts.
Report machine errors to the Production team lead.
Follow all policies and procedures.
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Comply with PCI, ISO,5S and any Health and Safety requirements.
Clean and maintain the production area.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Communicate and cooperate with Leader and colleagues.
To also ensure that their job goals are completed by striving for Quality, Trust and Security at all times.
To be considered for this role under the “Yes4Youth” Learnership program, the following requirements are non-negotiable
Ideal candidates should be unemployed at the time of contracting.
Must qualify as Youth candidates and therefore must be between the age of 18 – 34.
Must meet the definition of “Black People,” as defined in the Broad-Based Black Empowerment Act 53 of 2003, as amended by Act 46 of 213.
Must not have previously participated in a “Yes4Youth” program.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric Certificate / NQF Level 4 certificate or similar qualification.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1-2 years or more professional market related experience in similar role.
Have plastic card experience (advantage).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES:
Must be willing to work shifts.
Ability to stay engaged in routine work. Attention to detail.
Is highly self-motivated.
Is computer literate and efficient in MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
