Key Role Summary

The role of Sales and Application Engineer involves a multitude of responsibilities.

We are seeking an accomplished professional to drive early-stage project development, lead proposal compilation, and facilitate tender submissions.

This role also requires the ability to provide aftersales engineering support and assist with secondary duties such as developing marketing material.

Main Responsibilities Early-Stage Project / Proposal Development
  • Conduct feasibility assessments of product range applications.
  • Develop detailed pump selection studies, assistance with system design and layout, and pumping philosophies.
  • Analyze life cycle costs.
  • Engage subcontractors for quotes on bought-in products.
  • Compile proposals.
Tender Submission Management
  • Assess tender request requirements.
  • Confirm pump selection.
  • Manage QA submissions and reviews.
  • Review and manage DRL and DRS.
  • Develop project programs.
  • Engage subcontractors for quotes on bought-in products.
  • Submit mechanical, electrical, and civil documents.
  • Review and submit control and instrumentation documents.
  • Develop scope and resource requirements.
  • Prepare price schedules.
  • Compile and submit tender documents.
Aftersales Engineering Support
  • Oversee commissioning process management.
  • Analyze commissioning data to develop commissioning reports.
  • Analyze condition monitoring data to develop condition monitoring reports.
Manage customer complaints in accordance with ISO : .
Secondary Duties
  • Support the GM - Commercial in developing marketing materials such as technical presentations and case studies.
