Job summary
A well-established manufacturing company in Durban is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure production targets are met. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 education, experience in a production environment, and strong team management skills. This role involves significant responsibility in managing raw material handling, conducting maintenance, and ensuring compliance with quality management standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment.
- Experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth electrical and mechanical experience in production.
Responsibilities
- Manage all production, engineering and related activities including ISO.
- Draft weekly production planning and adjust for customer orders.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and monitor manufacturing expenses.
