Job summary
A community-focused camp organization is seeking a Lifeguard to monitor swimmers and ensure a safe environment at waterfronts. Responsibilities include enforcing safety rules, performing rescues, and administering first aid. Candidates must hold valid lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications, with a strong swimming ability. This is a part-time seasonal position in South Africa, Gauteng, offering paid compensation.
Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification, CPR certification, and First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming ability.
- Ability to calmly handle emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons to enforce safety rules.
- Respond to emergencies with appropriate rescue techniques.
- Administer first aid or CPR as trained.
- Keep the environment clean and safe to reduce risk of incidents.
