Safety Manager
Job summary
A leading mining company located in the North West Province is looking for a Safety Manager. The ideal candidate should have significant open cast mining experience and a Degree in Safety Management. Responsibilities include overseeing environmental management and compliance with legal and ISO standards. This position requires at least 7 years in environmental operations and 3 years in a managerial role at a mine.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in environmental operations.
- 3 years of managerial experience in an environmental department at a mine.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall environmental management in accordance with all relevant statutes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
