Job Description

As a Coordinator: C-Works, you will be required to promote and drive maintenance excellence across our Groceries and Milling divisions by reporting, training, planning, ensuring data integrity, managing spare parts stores, and executing preventative maintenance processes.

In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, improving product quality, and ensuring the effective use of our CMMS (C-Works).

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented maintenance planner with strong data analysis capability, CMMS expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans across all milling and grocery sites, using equipment data and industry best practices to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Administer and optimise the C-Works CMMS, including system configuration, accurate data input, preventative job card management, and national user training.

Coordinate maintenance activities through C-Works scheduling to ensure timely inspections, repairs, and overhauls based on equipment criticality.

Analyse maintenance data and performance trends to drive continuous improvement, enhanced planning, and informed decision-making.

Support maintenance stores and inventory processes by ensuring accurate E-Codes, proper part‑location and barcoding, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with store upgrades.

Provide training and support to maintenance and store personnel to improve system usage, data accuracy, and process compliance.

Ensure safety, compliance, and governance by supporting Health & Safety, Food Safety, and legal maintenance requirements through C-Works.

Qualification Requirements

Matric

Certification or training in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), specifically C-Works and SQL (Essential).

Additional training in maintenance planning, inventory management, or safety regulations relevant to the milling industry.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the milling or food processing industry (Essential).

Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in Preventative Maintenance work in FMCG or FoodBev industry.

Experience in Maintenance Coordination, C Works Software Management (CMMS), Inventory Control, Compliance and Continuous Improvement within the Milling Industry Context – 4-5 years.

Expected Job-Related Knowledge / Skills

Strong understanding of FMCG operations, milling processes, market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and equipment standards within the region.

Excellent analytical capability with the ability to interpret maintenance data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train, guide, and support teams effectively.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and strong competence in C-Works Software Management (CMMS).

SQL report writing and query-building skills advantageous.
