Job summary
A renowned food service company in Durban is looking for a Customer Service representative to deliver exceptional service by accurately processing customer transactions. Ideal candidates should possess strong customer service skills, literacy and numeracy abilities, and preferably have experience as a retail cashier. You will be responsible for educating customers on promotions, maintaining high hygiene standards, and increasing sales through upselling techniques.
Qualifications
- One year’s experience as a retail cashier in QSR environment is preferred.
- Well-developed literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders according to SOP for great service.
- Educate customers about current promotions to drive sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas.

To provide great Customer service by actively, timeously and accurately processing transactions on POS.
- Provide Great Customer Service by processing Customer orders according to SOP
- Maintain speed of service
- Process payment types accurately according to SOP
- Educate Customers about current promotions and drive sales
- Increase ticket averages by upselling or suggestive selling techniques
- Maintain the Cleanliness and Hygiene of the counter service areas according to SOP
- Maintain FOH Stock according to SOP
- National Senior Certificate (preferred)
- Senior Certificate (required)
- Well-developed Literacy skills
- Well-developed Numeracy skills
- One year’s experience as a retail cashier (QSR environment preferre)
