Ensure the vehicle is always clean, inside and out.

Keep the loading deck clear and clean to support efficient loading and deliveries.

Review vehicle performance and report feedback to the manager to ensure proper maintenance and schedule repairs and services.

Have the contact details of the tracking system company available for reporting incidents to them and the Police immediately.

Park the vehicle overnight at a safe location as decided by your Manager and return the petrol card upon returning to the branch.

Verify that all merchandise transported to and from the shop is checked by the Stock Clerk or Manager, ensuring correct delivery and safeguarding the merchandise.

Perform all vehicle checks as listed in the company's vehicle handbook and log any performance or appearance variances.

Ensure merchandise is properly loaded and secured on the vehicle.

Identify yourself and the company clearly to customers, manage the unloading process, and deliver friendly customer service while ensuring correct product delivery.

Assist customers by placing delivered merchandise correctly and contact the Manager for any issues to provide reassurance and address queries.

Support in resolving customer complaints related to your department according to company norms.

Escalate unresolved issues to the Branch Manager and Regional Controller to support issue management.

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to housekeeping standards, risk assessments, and health and safety protocols, especially on the road.

Follow all traffic rules and do not give lifts to strangers.
