Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support commercial projects in building services. The role includes managing low voltage projects, preparing documentation, and liaising with clients. Candidates must have a BTech or NDip in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years’ experience in the field. Only South African residents or valid work permit holders will be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in building services.
• Experience in managing low voltage building services projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Engineer and Electrical design teams for building services projects.
• Manage and supervise low voltage building services projects.
• Report writing, compiling technical specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Prepare contract documentation.
• Conduct site assessments and surveys.
• Liaise with clients and professionals from inception to handover.
