Accounting Manager: Lead Financial Reporting & Compliance
Job summary
A well-established accounting firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, manage month-end and year-end processes, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will have a BCom Accounting or equivalent and at least 2 years of post-article experience. This position offers an opportunity to lead a skilled team in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years post article experience is required.
- Proven ability to manage month-end and year-end processes.
- Strong knowledge of South African tax and accounting regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Supervise and support accounting staff to ensure compliance.
- Provide strategic insights to management and clients.
