Job summary
A technology solutions company is seeking a young, energetic IT Support Consultant to join their team based in George, Western Cape. The role involves providing exceptional client support both in-office and in the field. Ideal candidates will possess a strong IT background, with programming knowledge being advantageous. The successful candidate will start by shadowing the Manager to learn before handling clients independently.

SUMMARY :
We are seeking a young, energetic, and client-focused IT Support Consultant to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong IT background, with programming knowledge or experience being a distinct advantage.
This role involves providing support to clients both in-office and in the field, assisting with walk-ins, and delivering hands-on technical solutions.
The candidate will initially shadow the Manager to gain experience before handling clients independently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide IT support to clients (in-office and on-site).
- Assist with walk-in client queries and technical issues.
- Shadow and support the Manager to gain practical knowledge.
- Deliver excellent client service with professional communication.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve IT-related issues.
- Work overtime when required to meet client needs.
Requirements :
- Background in IT (formal qualification or relevant experience).
- Programming knowledge or experience is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-spoken, professional, and confident in client interactions.
- Energetic, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Flexible to work overtime when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport preferred.
