Overview

Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Refrigeration Technician. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Ammonia refrigeration maintenance, preferably in a FMCG processing environment, and a Trade Test certificate and an ammonia safe handling certificate with category B ammonia refrigeration registration with SAQCC gas is essential. The incumbent will be required to work shifts, have own transport and provide his own basic hand tools needed to perform the function of a Refrigeration Technician. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration pumped systems, valve station operation, layout drawings and basic electrical knowledge is a must. This position carries the grade of T10.
