Job summary
A leading consulting firm has an opportunity for an Associate Tele-underwriting Consultant in Gqeberha. The role involves performing outbound calls for confirmation of coverage and ensuring quality assurance of information captured. Ideal candidates will have excellent telephonic skills and experience in customer service. This is a chance to join a dynamic team and contribute to the internal service levels.
Qualifications
- Exceptional telephonic communication skills are essential.
- Experience or knowledge in health-related terminology preferred.
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform outbound calls to confirm cover and address questions after online proposals.
- Meet targets set by the internal service level agreement.
- Ensure quality assurance of captured information and escalate any issues.

Education
Our client has an opportunity available for an Associate Tele-underwriting Consultant based in Port-Elizabeth.
- Exceptional telephonic skills.
- Knowledge or experience in health-related terminology.
- Previous call center or customer service experience.
- Matric with Mathematical Literacy or NFS achievement level 3.
- Perform outbound calls for confirmation of cover and other questions that may arise after the online capture of new electronic proposal applications on the system.
- Ensure that agreed targets are met of the internal service level agreement.
- Ensure quality assurance of all captured information and where necessary, escalating any issues appropriately.
