Job Description

The Allocator is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Merchandise Strategy by conducting store and merchandise-related analysis. They liaise with suppliers, stores, and the Distribution Centre regarding stock levels, deliveries, and general queries, ensuring effective stock management and timely delivery of stock.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute the merchandise distribution strategy and act as a point of contact for stores and operations regarding product requirements.
2. Manage the inbound and outbound inventory flow from suppliers through the Distribution Centre to stores.
3. Support the planner with promotion plans and briefs.
4. Provide weekly updates on performance.
5. Liaise with suppliers and internal/external stakeholders, providing feedback and relevant information.

Qualifications And Experience

• Matric qualification; relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
• At least 2 years of store allocations experience.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to draw insights.
