The Role : Armed Response and Tactical Officer
This role is ideal for experienced, certified professionals who are passionate about tactical response and armed protection. You will conduct armed patrols, respond to high-risk incidents, manage threats, and ensure client safety with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct armed security patrols across residential, commercial, and industrial areas
Respond rapidly to alarms, armed intrusions, and distress signals
Manage and assess incidents, escalating to law enforcement when necessary
Carry and operate legal firearms in compliance with PSIRA and SAPS regulations
Monitor and operate advanced security systems, including CCTV and alarms
Maintain detailed incident and response reports for clients and management
Liaise with clients to address safety concerns and provide reassurance
Ensure strict compliance with security and firearms regulations
Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques where needed
Maintain high physical fitness and tactical readiness through ongoing training
About You
Minimum PSiRA Grade C certification
SAPS competency certificate
South African Professional Firearm Trainers Council statement of results
Valid drivers license and own vehicle
Minimum of 3 years experience as an Armed Response Officer
Excellent firearms handling and tactical response skills
Strong communication and client-facing abilities
Physically fit, disciplined, and able to perform under pressure
Committed to ongoing training and professional development
