• Driving Governance at site with the Junior Finance Manager
• Review all Trail balances to ensure completeness of the accounts
• Ensure that all transactions are reconciled, and queries resolved timeously
• Creditors function: Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and attending to queries
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct books: supplier ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
• Create payments via bank account
• Maintain fixed asset register & calculation of depreciation
• Handle cashbook and reconciliations
• Develop processes and internal controls to strengthen internal controls
• Prepare accrual and adjustment journals
• Prepare month-end journals
• Assist with annual audit preparations, schedules, and queries
• Ensure smooth functioning of the administrative department
• Manage inputs into finance
• Ensure the business's financial compliance meets standards outlined in group operating procedures and work instructions
• Debtor management: invoicing, payment allocation, follow-up on outstanding accounts, collectability reporting, and sales analysis

• BCom Degree or related finance qualifications
• 1-2 years of working experience in a financial role
