We are looking for a Junior Accounts Administrator to join our team based in Cape Town, Century City. The successful candidate will slot into our Accounts Department

Responsibilities
  • Bank statements reconciliation, as well as accounts payable and receivable
  • Data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Daily capturing and monthly reconciliation of all intercompany transactions, ensuring zero discrepancies. All queries to be resolved before month end
  • Updating financial records via Xero accounting software
  • Perform General Ledger Reconciliations and follow-up on reconciling items.
  • Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly financial reports
  • To manage, improve and develop relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • To manage general administration within the Finance department.
Requirements

Your Profile:

  • Completed NQF Diploma in accounting or Bachelors degree in accounting
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Xero experience (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Delivering Results and Meeting deliverables
  • Team Player
  • Fluent in French (speak, read, write)
