A hospitality company in Cape Town is seeking a Bar Server to provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming bar environment. Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bar Server or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of different types of drinks and their preparation methods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders promptly.
- Maintain a clean bar area, stocking and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure all guests are of legal drinking age and follow guidelines.
- Engage with guests and provide drink recommendations.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Skills
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude, making them feel welcome and comfortable
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all guests are of legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient bar operation
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Attend all training sessions and meetings as required by the company
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
