Job summary

A leading educational institution is seeking a Restaurant Manager for a permanent role in Broederstroom, Northwest Province. The candidate will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage budgeting, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. We are seeking a Restaurant Manager for a permanent role based in Broederstroom, Northwest Province
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
  • Grade 12 with a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management or Business Administration ideal
  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality / restaurant industry
  • Proven track record in restaurant operations, staff supervision, financial management & customer service
  • Experience with systems, inventory control and cash handling
  • Good understanding of health, safety & hygiene compliance
  • Work hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, and every first and last weekend of the month will need to be worked
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations
  • Budgeting, promotions and cost control
  • Lead, train and inspire team
  • Manage inventory, supplier relations, compliance with health & safety and liquor regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen, bar and event teams
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints
  • Ensure the restaurant runs efficiently, profitability and in line with company standards
Salary: R18,000 per month + Provident & Risk benefit
