This is a full-time, on-site role located in Durban for a Strategic Fundraising Professional.
The individual will develop and implement fundraising initiatives, build donor relationships, and manage sponsorships to support the organization's mission.
- Conduct donor outreach and build relationships.
- Create targeted fundraising campaigns.
- Prepare grant applications.
- Organize fundraising events.
- Analyze funding opportunities.
- Maintain donor databases.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Experience in fundraising, campaign development, and sponsorship procurement.
- Grant writing, proposal development, and donor communication skills.
- Excellent research, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Relationship building and networking skills in the non-profit and private sectors.
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in social impact or non-profit environments is an advantage.
