Overview

Are you a commercially-minded analyst who thrives on transforming data into strategy

A leading organisation in the fertiliser sector is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support and streamline its Marketing operations in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a driven individual who blends strong financial acumen with a knack for systems and process improvement.

Key Duties
  • Manage a small Marketing admin team
  • Oversee commission processes and pricing controls
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with Costing to ensure data accuracy and appropriate cost allocation
  • Drive process improvements and support policy development
  • Assist with budget preparation and regional financial coordination
  • Support the migration from AX to Office D365 including training and setup
  • Represent the regional team in management meetings and site visits
  • Conduct stock counts and provide on-site financial support as needed
Key Requirements
  • Financial or Costing qualification (IT experience advantageous)
  • 810 years experience in a similar analytical or financial support role
  • Strong understanding of business operations and financial modelling
  • Experience working closely with IT teams on reporting and systems
  • Demonstrated team management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail problem-solving ability and commercial insight
  • Willingness to visit operational sites and understand manufacturing processes
