Field Application Engineer (Semicon Backend Machine | Electronics)
Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is searching for a Field Application Engineer in Singapore to manage projects involving CAPEX budget proposals and new machine installations. Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering and have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in project management within the Electronics or Semiconductor industry. This permanent role offers a competitive salary range between $4,500 and $5,500, and is an on-site position in Central Singapore.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 2 - 5 years working experience in Equipment Hands-On, Design & Project Management in Electronics / Semiconductor Back End Industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects involving CAPEX budget proposals/justification, conceptualization, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of new machines.
- Develop and review equipment specifications, identify and select suitable suppliers, conduct tender evaluations.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Field Application Engineer manages projects - CAPEX budget proposals/justification, conceptualization, manufacturing, installation of new machines.
- Permanent Role
- Office Location: Central
- Work Hours: Mon to Fri
- $4,500 - $5,500 Basic + AWS + VB
- Manage projects involving CAPEX budget proposals/justification, conceptualization, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, and industrialisation of new machines.
- Develop and review equipment specifications, identify and select suitable suppliers, conduct tender evaluations, and award purchase orders to suppliers who meet the selection criteria.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and managing project timelines and budgets.
- Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or relevant discipline
- 2 - 5 years working experience in Equipment Hands-On, Design & Project Management in Electronics / Semiconductor Back End Industry
