Job summary
A leading civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced candidate to plan, design, and supervise civil and structural engineering works. The ideal applicant will hold a recognized degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and have experience managing projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes. Knowledge of structural design software is essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized in Singapore.
- Prior experience in structural engineering projects preferred.
- Conversant with local Codes and Regulations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise C&S engineering works.
- Perform analysis and design for projects.
- Manage project stakeholders and coordinate with contractors.

- Plan, design and supervise C&S engineering works (e.g. buildings, roads, drains, sewers, earthworks, underground buildings, temporary structures).
- Perform analysis and design for the project.
- Supervise the drafting of drawings related to design.
- Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
- Manage project stakeholders, clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties.
- Coordinate with contractors, project team and design consultants.
- Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- Prior working experiences in structural engineering projects preferred.
- Familiar with structural engineering design to local Codes, Regulations and requirements,and Eurocode.
- Well verse in structural design software, e.g. ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, MIDAS, etc.
- Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works.
- Experience in design/project management works in BIM.
- Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.
