Responsible for the execution of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
Produce tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts.
Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures.
Work with Qualified Person (QP) to develop design scheme for civil and structural works.
Lead a team in project planning, implementation and close monitoring the progress of projects.
Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage and site inspection with qualified site supervisors (RE/RTO).
Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.
Requirements
Candidates must possess minimum a Bachelor Engineering (Civil) degree recognised by PE Board.
Engineers with minimum 5 years' relevant local experience in engineering design and project management.
Conversant with latest design codes and authority requirements (Codes of practice directives, etc.).
Be a team player with good attitude towards quality of work and timeline.
Able to work independently to support the Qualified Person.
