Project Coordinator jobs in Singapore

As an Assistant IT Project Manager cum site project management, you will be working closely with the Project Manager/Project Director in developing and managing project schedules, scopes, resources, and monitoring project health.

Responsibilities

1. Working with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and customers in the projects.
2. Assist in the development and management of project schedules and resources, identify risks, define problem-solving strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
3. Leading cross-functional team meetings and driving outcomes towards project success.
4. Assist in the translation of business needs into clear and comprehensive software requirements specifications.
5. Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements during the software development life cycle.
6. Translate technical information into business language to ensure understanding by both business and technical audiences.
7. Identifying and scheduling customer-facing meetings to assure effective completion of projects.
8. Generate Project Management Plan for QAD and Management Review.
9. Liaise with Procurement and Legal for any contract-related matters (contract to vendors).
10. Generate installation-related material BQ and sub-contractor scope of work for sub-contractor tender.
11. Liaise closely with client/consultant and main contractor for installation-related matters or schedule.
12. Coordinate with the system team to prepare all the system and sub-system design documents.
13. Manage the Testing & Commissioning of the system with internal team members.
14. Track project cost and perform timely sales pick up.
15. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project delivery.
16. Contribute to the creation and updating of project documentation.
17. Work with procurement for best sourcing and pricing before the award of sub-contractor.
18. Able to handle tasks with multiple deadlines and efficiently prioritize tasks accordingly.
19. Develop meeting minutes independently and follow up on action items.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
2. 4 - 6 years of experience in IT Project Management.
3. Preferably with a valid PMP Certification.
4. Understanding of different project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
5. Able to handle complex projects with different groups of users and external vendors.
6. Having an eye for details and the potential to see roadblocks or risks down the line.
7. Experience handling site implementation activities with the project team.
8. Demonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams.
9. Good verbal and written communication skills.
10. Fast learner with a passion for technology.
