Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist the Project Manager in managing project sections. The role involves preparing project programmes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and dealing with technical matters. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably with basement construction. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to manage teams and projects effectively.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in managing sections of the project.

  • Complete the project to meet client's requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Authorities’ requirements.
  • Deal with consultants and owners on all technical matters.
  • Manage the cost of work to remain below budget.
  • Ensure subordinates follow systems, are productive, and encourage teamwork.

Job description
Roles & Responsibilities

Report to the Project Manager. Assist the Project Manager in managing certain section(s) of the project, as assigned by the Project Manager and shown in the organization chart.

Job Description
  • Prepare a detailed programme and ensure that the assigned tasks are completed within the time frame as stipulated in the master programme.
  • Implementation of all ISO quality, EHS, green and gracious procedures and requirements.
  • Complete the project with quality to meet client's / consultant's requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Authorities’ requirements.
  • To deal with consultants and owners on all matters including solving technical problems, submission of shop drawings and samples, etc.
  • To ensure that the appointed sub-contractors are able to complete the sub-contract work within the schedule and comply with the technical and contractual requirements.
  • Manage the actual cost of work so that they are below the budgeted costs.
  • Manage the subordinates so that they are following work systems, productive, and encourage teamwork among the team members.
Job Requirements
